نویسندگان

چکیده

Background: This study aimed to identify the blood pressure (BP) responses during different types of isometric exercises (IE) in adults and evaluate whether BP according IE is influenced by characteristics participants exercise protocols. Methods: The search was conducted PubMed, Cochrane Central, SPORTDiscus, LILACS databases June 2020. Random effects models with a 95% confidence interval p < 0.05 were used analyses. Results: Initially, 3201 articles found and, finally, 102 studies included this systematic review, seven which meta-analysis comparing handgrip other IE. Two-knee extension deadlift promoted greater increases systolic (+9.8 mmHg; = 0.017; I2 74.5% +26.8 ≤ 0.001; 0%, respectively) diastolic (+7.9 0.022; 68.6% +12.4 36.3%, compared handgrip. Men, middle-aged/elderly adults, hypertensive individuals, protocols higher intensities potentiate (p 0.001). Conclusions: involving larger muscle groups elicit than those smaller masses, especially men, individuals. Future should directly compare various populations.

The effect of acute aerobic exercise on stress related blood pressure responses: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

The beneficial impact of regular exercise on cardiovascular health is partly mediated by psychobiological mechanisms. However, the effect of acute exercise on psychobiological responses is unclear. Thus, we performed a systematic review of randomised controlled trials (RCTs) that examined the effect of acute aerobic exercise on blood pressure (BP) responses (the change from baseline to stress) ...

Exercise Training for Blood Pressure: A Systematic Review and Meta‐analysis

BACKGROUND We conducted meta-analyses examining the effects of endurance, dynamic resistance, combined endurance and resistance training, and isometric resistance training on resting blood pressure (BP) in adults. The aims were to quantify and compare BP changes for each training modality and identify patient subgroups exhibiting the largest BP changes. METHODS AND RESULTS Randomized controll...

Isometric handgrip exercise and resting blood pressure: a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.

OBJECTIVE To examine the efficacy of isometric handgrip exercise for reducing resting SBP and DBP in adult humans. METHODS Meta-analysis of studies retrieved from five electronic databases as well as cross-referencing from identified articles. The criteria for inclusion were randomized controlled trials published in any language over an approximate 38-year period (1 January 1971 to 1 February...
